The first year in our new home has certainly been a pleasant one. The year has gone by so quickly. We would like to say how much we both appreciate the comfort and quality of our new house. The R2000 construction has really paid dividends through all four seasons. Friends and relatives both have remarked about how attractive and well built our new home is. My wife and I would like to express our complete satisfaction both during and after the construction of our new home by Farwes Homes. It was a pleasure working closely with both Steve and Ruth Farkas. Their attention to detail was very reassuring and put us completely at eze. Before we were introduced to Farwes Homes we had taken our plans to several builders and found it very difficult to get them to truly listen to what we wanted in a house as far as specifications and a few engineering changes. From our first meeting it was very evident that Steve was attentive and sincerely concerned with building exactly what we had asked for. During construction of our house Steve was in constant contact with us, checking to see if everything was going as planned. This is the second new house we have had built. I only wish we had used Farwes for our first house. While our first house was constructed well, it was not remotely as smooth going as our second has been with Steve. I had to contact our previous builder sometimes as many as five or six times before I could get any action on deficiencies after we had moved in. Their attitude was now that we got your money we don't care. This was definitely not the case with Steve. The few very minor problems that we have had were always delt with promptly and curteously with a single phone call to Steve. As a matter of fact I have been amazed on several occasions when Steve has called me to see if everything is fine and we are content. This kind of after the sale service is really rare to find these days. We have always and will continue to have an open door policy for anyone who wants to contact us or see first hand the quality of Farwes workmanship to tour our home.
It is our pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Farwes Homes as we have for the past year and a half been enjoying the home which Steve Farkas built. The first thing which caught our eye was the quality of workmanship for a reasonable price. Even as we moved in, neighbours who had watched the house go up commented that it was a well-built home. Steve and his wife, Ruth kindly and patiently went through the house and explained thoroughly the things we would need to know before moving in. Even after moving in Steve stood by his word and took care of a few minors details which came up. Although it was a big investment, we have never been sorry we purchased this home and so we would highly recommend Farwes Homes to anyone looking to buy a home with high quality workmanship and a builder who stands behind his work.
It is our opinion that Farwes Homes is a very reputable building company. The fact that our home to be built was on a strict time limit - to be built within two months, we have found no complaints regarding the construction of our home. In fact when there was a concern, Mr. Farkas was always prompt to remedy any problem that may have risen. Every detail in the process of building our home from the point of selecting a lot, style and completion was done to perfection and in a professional manner. We found that building a home with Mr. Farkas very exciting and not stressful which can be of concern when building a home. If in the future we build another home we would not hesitate to choose Farwes Homes Ltd. over any other builder and recommend anyone else to do the same.
